Carlee's Place at 660 Palm Canyon Drive, Borrego Springs, California.

Definitely where the locals go, but not because of the food. It has a local feel, and a community feel. Tourists come here too, but this is a local watering hole. The food is average at best, pretty much what you'd expect for a dive. The beer and liquor selection is limited to the mainstays. The interior decor is dated and on par for a local, divey joint. Beyond all that, its still the best place to hangout in Borrego Springs for all the local action. It's a place for nightlife and afternoon sports watching.

We have been to Carlee's many times and have tried A LOT of items on the menu. (Huge menu ) Have never been dissatisfied . The staff and service is always exceptional . I would absolutely recommend to anyone.
We don't live here and only visit but can't wait to get back while at home.
